I’m from & live in Leicestershire, in a little Edwardian terrace with my partner that we are slowly {but surely} renovating.
I love to travel, read, eat too much cheese & play board games with friends.
Many {all} of these activities contain wine.

about my work…
I’m a Documentary Wedding Photographer, however I also love to shoot Events of all kinds too!
I’m at my happiest with my camera in hand, and variety combined with people, is one of the things that makes this job pretty much, the best job in the world.
I’m also been branching out into Lifestyle photography recently, taking pictures of families, newborns, pets & now equine.
I have the same natural & photo-journalistic approach throughout any job that comes my way, and like to focus on the happiness, atmosphere & details.
I’ve been doing this since 2014, when I finally plucked up the courage to get up and give it a shot, after graduating from Photography & Digital Imagery a couple of years before. It’s ironic really, when I was studying I wanted to go into fashion or art photography, or basically anything but weddings! But low & behold, somehow this is where I found my passion and my happiness after helping out a friend on a very small budget.
I’m a Libra, and one of the most common things you will found written about Librarians is that they are in love with the idea of love. So just maybe, that’s why this industry appeals to me so much. It’s probably also the reason I cry at pretty much every wedding I go to, working or as a guest. So for that, I apologise, in advance.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DETAILS!
We’ll all remember the beautifully sunny day, the food {this might just be me}, the venue & that wine that we really shouldn’t have had so much of, but what about the silk buttons on the back of the dress, that your sister fastened with a crochet hook? The delicate flowers your stylist weaved into your hair & the table plan that you worked until midnight on to get just right.
That is where documentary wedding photography holds the magic for me; and I want to capture it all.
I will be bossy once; for the group shots. Just because no-one ever listens to the bloody photographer! Ok maybs twice, because the same can definitely be said for the confetti shot. However, other than that, I am pretty laid back and will happily mooch around & watch the day unfold, blending into the background to document all those happy & natural moments - and of course, terrorising ANYONE who tries to hide if they see me coming.

Next we get together for a little consultation.
You can arrange this by using the form on the Contact Me page to get in touch and arrange a date. A consultation is a meeting usually at your home, or the local coffee shop {pub} to discuss what you are looking for in a wedding photographer, to go through the details and timeline of the day & to see if we’re naturally a good fit. I must stress it is very important to get on well with your Photographer; they are with you for a LONG time!
WHEN DO WE PAY?
A deposit of £395 is required to secure your date; the rest is not due until 4 weeks prior to the day itself.
If you are booking a micro wedding or half day package that is under £395 we will require the full amount as a deposit.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOGRAPHS?
I’ll send you a sneak peak within 72 hours of your wedding day, which will arrive via an email link to your gallery. You will receive your USB and presentation box within 6-8 weeks; but this can be longer in peak season but will not exceed 12 weeks.
You will also be sent all your photographs in an online gallery after you have received your physical products, so that you can share these with family & friends.

I am based in Wigston, Leicestershire but am happy to travel throughout the UK {and beyond} to capture the delights of your Wedding Day.
I am most frequently booked for Wedding photography in Birmingham, Coleshill, Nottingham & Derbyshire at the moment.

Firstly, as you may agree when you see my pricing page, I’m am a very affordable wedding photographer. I feel no need to add any zeros because I’m in the wedding industry!
I also care about my couples and the work I produce, which is why I include a free Engagement Shoot with all my ‘full day’ Wedding Package. This allows me to get to know you better before the BIG DAY and also see how you interact with each other and how best to photograph you.
I personally find it very daunting to be put in front of a lens even if it’s just for one photo, but it’s my job to make you feel relaxed. By the time we’ve had a consult & engagement shoot, you’ll forget I’m here playing paparazzi and think of me more along the lines of a wedding guest.

Of course, and also Public Liability & Public Indemnity; just to be sure.
DO YOU PROTECT OUR PRIVACY?
Always. I will never give out any details I have collected from you & information collected is destroyed if I am not your choice of wedding snapper! Both your Sneak-Peak & Online Galleries are password protected also.
